Why we included this project

Copying a formula or table out of ChatGPT and dropping it into Word or Excel usually ends in broken text. PasteMD sits in the Windows system tray and watches the clipboard, so Markdown content and AI chat responses paste into Word, WPS, and Excel with their structure intact. LaTeX formulas, tables, and code blocks come through correctly, and the tool also cleans the extra markup off copied AI chat pages. For anyone who drafts papers or reports with an AI assistant and then has to get that output into a real document, it removes the fiddly reformatting step. It's a small desktop tool rather than a library, so there's no integration work: install it, leave it running, and pasting just works.
