Cookie Notice

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. They support essential features (security, language) and, with your consent, help us measure site usage.

Your choices

On your first visit you can choose Accept all or Essential only. Essential technologies are always on; analytics load only after Accept all. You can change your choice anytime via Cookie settings in the footer, by clearing site data, or through your browser controls.

Types of cookies

Essential cookies / storage

Required for the site to work and stay secure — e.g. language preference (cookie), consent record (local storage), and Cloudflare edge security / bot management. These cannot be turned off in our banner.

Preferences

List filters are mostly stored in the URL, not separate preference cookies. If we introduce preference cookies later, we will update the inventory below.

Analytics (consent required)

Only if you choose Accept all, we may load Cloudflare Web Analytics (when enabled on our site) or similar tools to understand page usage and improve the site.

Cookie & local storage inventory

Common items on this site are listed below. When Cloudflare proxy / security features are on, additional short-lived cookies (e.g. __cf_bm) may appear — see Cloudflare’s policy for details.

Name Purpose Type Duration Provider
tosai_lang Remembers language preference (English / 简体中文) Essential cookie About 1 year This site
cookieConsentPreferences (localStorage) Stores your cookie consent choice Essential (local storage) Until you clear site data This site
__cf_bm, cf_clearance, etc. CDN security, bot management, connection integrity (depends on Cloudflare settings) Essential cookie Usually short (e.g. 30 minutes) Cloudflare, Inc.

Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon is not configured yet. When enabled, the row below applies and loads only after consent.

Hosting & processors

The static frontend is hosted on Cloudflare Pages / CDN (Cloudflare, Inc.), which may process IP addresses, request URLs, and similar network data at the edge. Contact form and newsletter submissions are sent to our API servers; transactional email may be sent via our configured mail provider (see Privacy Policy). Each processor is bound by contract or its published privacy policy.

Managing cookies

Use Cookie settings in the site footer, or your browser’s controls to view, delete, or block cookies. Clearing data may show the banner again. Blocking essential cookies can affect basic features such as language selection.
