Why we included this project

Running DeepSeek Harness agents usually means setting up Node.js and working from a terminal. This desktop client skips that: it bundles its own Node.js runtime and the full dsh CLI kernel, so on Windows 10/11 or Apple Silicon macOS you can start the harness with a double-click instead of installing a runtime and typing commands. The extras are where it gets useful. There's a plugin marketplace for one-click installs, ten UI themes, visual setup for vision models and MCP servers, and you can import configs from Claude Code or Codex. Desktop plugins run in their own profile, separate from the CLI, while sessions and API keys stay shared, and the app snapshots state before installs so you can roll back if something breaks. If you already use DeepSeek Harness from the command line and want a more visual way to manage the same agents, this is worth a look.
