Why we included this project

Anyone maintaining skills for more than one AI coding assistant knows the pain of each tool keeping its own skill directories and conventions. Skills Manager is a lightweight desktop app that centralizes the job: you install a skill once from a Git repo, a local folder, an archive, or the skills.sh marketplace, then enable it for Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, or any of the other supported agents. It exposes each tool's global and project-local skill folders, so you can see what an agent actually loads and toggle named presets across projects instead of editing files by hand. Versioned backups and multi-device sync round it out for people who keep their setup current on several machines. For anyone who has been hand-editing skill folders, this is a practical daily tool rather than a novelty.
