MineContext

Why we included this project

MineContext is a desktop app for macOS and Windows that captures screenshots of your work, reads them with a vision-language model, and keeps the results in a searchable local context store. That store is summarized into daily and weekly digests, to-do lists, and insights, so you get a running record of what you worked on and what needs attention next. Everything is local-first by default, with an optional OpenAI-compatible model connection, which matters if you care about privacy but still want proactive help without prompting it constantly. It suits people who spend their days scattered across documents and browser tabs and would rather not log that activity by hand. Teams exploring context-engineering or personal-knowledge automation can also treat it as a concrete reference implementation.
