Why we included this project

Call.md is a desktop app that records and transcribes meetings as they happen, with the audio and processing staying on your machine. It separates your microphone from the other participants' system audio, so you can see who is talking and how much, and it tracks talk ratio, speaking pace, and monologue detection in real time. When a call needs steering it sends a gentle nudge, and it can also surface contextual suggestions or trigger your MCP tools on its own when it detects an information need. Afterward it writes a Markdown summary with a narrative overview, key points, and action items you can push to n8n, Zapier, or a CRM. It runs on macOS and Windows and needs only a VideoDB API key, which keeps it a lightweight way to get live meeting intelligence without signing up for a heavyweight platform.
