Why we included this project

GoNavi is a desktop database client built with a native Go backend and a React frontend, so it skips the memory and install-size tax of Electron-based GUIs while still covering a wide spread of data sources: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis, MongoDB, Kafka, and MQTT. If you work across several of those, it gives you one lightweight tool for browsing schemas, running SQL, editing rows, and exporting or backing up data on any platform. The AI angle is practical rather than gimmicky: you can hand table schemas to the built-in assistant for SQL generation and explanations, and the Model Context Protocol support lets agents query your databases directly through the tool. For teams that want a fast, low-footprint database client that also opens the door to agent-driven data access, it is a solid pick.
