Why we included this project

APT is a Windows desktop application that packs local AI models and media-processing tools into a single portable package, so it's worth a look if you want offline AI without sending your files to a cloud service. It includes local chat models like DeepSeek, Phi, Qwen, and others for conversation, and pairs them with a long list of one-click image, video, and audio utilities, including upscaling, background removal, watermark erasing, frame interpolation, vocal separation, and denoising. Because everything runs on-device, it suits users who care about privacy or work in environments with unreliable internet access. The trade-off is that it's currently Windows-only and the media features are largely convenience wrappers around ONNX models, so it's best treated as a ready-to-run toolbox rather than a framework you build on.
