Why we included this project

DeepSeek Harness normally expects Node.js and a terminal, and this desktop client removes that requirement. It bundles the full dsh runtime and every official plugin inside a Tauri 2 shell, so a double-click starts the agent workbench, reuses the port from your last session, and opens a native window once it is ready. There is a portable build that runs straight off a USB stick and an installer variant that adds desktop and Start-menu shortcuts. The switch from Electron to Tauri 2 is the part worth knowing about: smaller installs, lower memory use, faster startup, and a 'guardian waterfall' mechanism that keeps a broken plugin or config from leaving you staring at a blank window. That combination makes it a practical way to put a working agent harness in front of a non-technical colleague without a setup guide.
