Why we included this project

Muxy is a lightweight macOS terminal built on libghostty that groups shells around projects rather than sessions, with split panes, vertical tabs, and workspace persistence. For developers running AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, or opencode, the extension system and agent skills are the draw: you can drive the workspace from a shell, opening projects, sending keys, and reading panes programmatically. It also has a quick-launch terminal that expands from the menu bar cutout, plus mobile companion apps for iOS and Android to check on sessions remotely.
