Why we included this project

MCP servers become a tangle once you have more than a couple, because every AI client needs its own configuration and access rules end up duplicated or forgotten. MCPJungle is a self-hosted gateway that registers each server once and exposes them through a single endpoint, so Claude, Cursor, Codex, or your own agents all talk to the same place. You can run it locally to keep a personal setup tidy, or deploy it as shared infrastructure where a team gets one spot to discover tools, control access, and watch what happens. Tool groups help on that front: you can hand a client only the tools it should see without editing configuration files by hand.
