Why we included this project

This project is a hosted gateway that gives you a single OpenAI-compatible endpoint for a range of models, including GPT, DeepSeek, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Qwen, and Kimi. You register, link your GitHub account, and get a daily free quota of 10,000 points with per-model call limits; paid tiers add discounted access to Codex and Claude. Because it speaks the standard OpenAI protocol, you can point existing tools and plugins at it and switch models by changing the model name, which makes it easy to wire into software that already uses the OpenAI API. The service is accelerated on domestic routes and works without a proxy, which matters for teams in China. Just keep in mind the free tier is limited to personal, educational, and non-commercial research use, so it suits prototyping and evaluation better than a production backend for a commercial product.
