Why we included this project

Jarvis is a voice assistant that runs entirely on your own machine, with no cloud account, subscription, or data harvesting. It listens for its name anywhere in your sentence instead of waiting for a rigid wake command, keeps a short rolling context of whatever you were just discussing, and remembers facts across sessions, so a follow-up like "what do you think?" arrives with the context it needs. Beyond conversation, it can search the web, read your screen, control Chrome, and track meals, and the MCP integration lets you bolt on extra tools without noticeably slowing the core loop. Sensitive information is redacted before anything is written to disk, and the built-in dictation works fully offline. It is voice-first for now, with macOS as the most mature platform.
