Why we included this project

Developers who use MCP clients such as Claude Desktop have probably hit this: the model decides the conversation is over, closes with something polite, and you still have questions you wanted to ask. Cunzhi is a small local MCP server that catches those wrap-up moments and pops up a dialog with predefined options so you can keep going until you are actually done. It also stores per-project memory for coding conventions and preferences, so recurring instructions do not need to be restated every session, and it bundles a semantic code search tool, rewritten in Rust, that helps the assistant understand your repository layout. It is a lightweight desktop helper rather than a framework or a model, most useful for developers who want control over when an AI conversation really ends and who dislike re-prompting the same context.
