Why we included this project

BingGPT is a desktop client for the new Bing's AI chat, built with Electron and available on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Sign in with a Microsoft account and you get a proper chat window instead of keeping the service pinned in a browser tab or installing Edge extensions. It layers on the conveniences a frequent user wants: keyboard shortcuts, adjustable theme and font size, and one-click export of a full conversation to Markdown, PNG, or PDF, so a long research session doesn't have to stay buried in chat history. Since it doesn't rely on a browser plugin, it's also a reasonable fit for teams with locked-down browsers. Just remember it calls the Bing service itself, so you'll need access to that, and in some regions a VPN.
