Why we included this project

Craft Agents is a desktop app for people who would rather run their AI agent sessions in a document-style workspace than in a terminal or a single chat window. If you keep several long-running conversations going across Claude, Google AI Studio, ChatGPT Plus, or GitHub Copilot, the inbox layout with per-workspace settings and flags keeps them from turning into a mess. The part that stands out is setup: tell it to add Slack, Linear, or Gmail as a source and it finds the right API or MCP server, reads the docs, and wires up credentials, no config files involved. It also picks up your existing Claude Code skills and MCP configuration, runs local stdio-based MCP servers, and can run headless on a VPS with the desktop app as a thin client. Teams that want a self-hosted, customizable workbench with permission controls and background tasks will find it worth a close look.
