Why we included this project
Unla is a Go-based gateway that sits between your existing services and MCP clients. If you already have REST APIs or MCP servers, it exposes them as MCP-compliant endpoints through YAML configuration alone, with no backend code changes and no touch to your infrastructure. It ships with a management UI and hot-reloads config changes, which makes day-to-day operation fairly painless, and the session recovery, multi-tenant support, and OAuth pre-authentication are the sorts of things you actually want before pointing real traffic at it. Docker and Helm options get it running quickly if you just want one ingestion point for several internal tools. For teams standardizing on MCP but holding a long tail of legacy services, this is a reasonable way to unify them behind a single gateway.
