Why we included this project
OmniGet puts a downloader, course player, PDF/EPUB reader, and music library in one desktop app for Windows, macOS, and Linux, so a single tool covers the whole offline-media workflow. Paste a link from Udemy, Hotmart, YouTube, TikTok, or any of the other 1,800+ supported sites, and the app fetches it with bundled yt-dlp and FFmpeg, then keeps those dependencies current so you never have to touch the terminal. Everything stays on your computer, and downloaded files land in an organized library instead of scattered loose downloads. That makes it a good fit for anyone building a private offline collection from paid courses or video subscriptions, since the fiddly part of pulling from many different sources is handled in one place.
