Why we included this project
AIUsage is a macOS app for people who pay for more than one AI coding subscription and want the whole picture in one place. It shows what you are spending and how much quota each account has left across a dozen providers, including Codex, Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, and OpenCode, and it can read usage data from local session logs to give per-model trends without extra setup. The built-in proxies let you point Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode at any OpenAI-compatible upstream while still logging usage, so costs stay attributed to the right account. That makes it handy for developers juggling several subscriptions and for small teams that need to know which accounts and models are eating the budget. A menu bar widget keeps quota and cost visible at a glance, and credentials live in the macOS Keychain.
