Why we included this project
Anyone who re-encodes video on a regular basis, whether they are producing deliverables for distribution, managing a growing library, or shrinking files without losing quality, will find StaxRip removes the pain of driving several command-line encoders by hand. It is a Windows GUI that pulls x265, x264, ffmpeg, mkvmerge, and the AviSynth+/VapourSynth frame servers into one structured project workflow, so you can chain filters, set encoder options, and queue jobs from a single window instead of typing long console commands. Batch processing, trimming, and demux/remux tasks fit into the same pipeline, and it deliberately stays a configurable tool rather than a one-click preset. That combination of control and structure makes it a natural fit for editors, archivists, and anyone who encodes as part of their day.
