Why we included this project
SceneView gives app teams a way to add real 3D or AR views to the mobile and web apps they already ship, without switching UI frameworks. On Android it is a Compose-native API on top of Filament; on iOS it wraps RealityKit behind SwiftUI. The same scene model carries to the web, Flutter, React Native, and desktop, so a product viewer or tap-to-place AR feature can be written once in familiar UI terms. What sets it apart for AI-assisted work is the tooling: an MCP server and an llms.txt file let Claude, Cursor, and similar coding agents check the SDK's own documentation and conventions before generating code, so they spend less time guessing API signatures and boilerplate. If you are prototyping product viewers or AR overlays, the live demo apps are a quick way to see what the library actually does.
