Why we included this project

Teams juggling several coding agents from different providers will find Agor a genuinely useful control plane rather than another terminal wrapper. It is a self-hosted web workspace where each task lives on its own git branch with an isolated dev environment and conversation history, so Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, and others can run in parallel without colliding on ports or state. Agents run in the browser instead of a terminal, and per-prompt token and dollar accounting keeps spending visible to the whole team. Agor ships no model of its own; it drives the CLIs and SDKs you already run, so you keep your provider and subscription and can swap the underlying agent per session. You can stand it up solo in a few minutes, and multiplayer mode adds live cursors, shared sessions, and Unix-level isolation once the team grows.
