Why we included this project

Magic takes the 'describe an app and get it built' idea and makes it something you can host on hardware you control. Describe a business application in plain English and it returns the database, a secure API, business logic, and a frontend, with none of it living in a vendor's cloud. The built-in MCP server is what pushes it past a plain code generator: every endpoint it creates becomes a tool, so agents in Claude, Cursor, or Codex can drive your API directly. Teams looking for an open-source alternative to hosted builders like Lovable or Bolt will find a fully self-contained system, MIT-licensed and open down to the C# and Hyperlambda underneath, with no lock-in.
