VidBee is a desktop front end for yt-dlp that spares you the command-line flags when you want a video or an audio track off a social platform. The Electron app covers more than a thousand sites, YouTube and TikTok among them, and gives you per-download control over resolution, container (MP4, MKV, MP3), and quality up to 4K or 8K. The feature that stands out is RSS auto-download: subscribe to a creator's feed and new uploads are fetched in the background, which makes hands-off archival of regularly publishing channels practical. It also pulls subtitles and transcripts alongside the media, a nice extra if you are building a local library or want a machine-readable copy of what you saved. Teams running a shared editing library or media pipeline get a solid GUI on a proven engine.
