Why we included this project

Anyone who juggles separate work and personal Codex logins, or shares team seats, will find this CLI a practical way to keep accounts straight. It stores them in a local registry and handles listing, adding, switching, and removing from the terminal, and it works with the Codex CLI, the VS Code extension, and the Codex app. Because it runs in the shell, it slots into existing scripts, and the JSON output means you can build your own front end if you want one. The docs also cover the account registry format, and a companion forked client offers account switching without restarting the editor. It's a small utility, not a framework, so it pays off most when you already live inside Codex and just want cleaner account management.
