Why we included this project

CodMate is a macOS app for people who do real work in Codex, Claude Code, or Gemini CLI and have watched their session history turn into a pile of JSONL files they can't search. It indexes sessions from all three CLIs into a compact three-column interface where you can search across everything, group work by project, and resume a conversation with one click. The Project Review view is the most useful part: it shows diffs and staging state and lets you commit without leaving the app, so it actually helps you close out a session instead of just browsing it. One honest caveat: the author has said he plans to archive the project, so think of it as a finished, working tool rather than something still evolving. For macOS developers who want a lightweight way to keep their CLI agent work organized and resumable, it's still worth a look.
