Why we included this project

Claude Desktop normally uses Anthropic's own API, and if you want to point it at DeepSeek, Kimi, Zhipu GLM, Alibaba Bailian, or Xiaomi MiMo instead, this small desktop app is the practical way to do it. You get a simple window where you pick a provider preset, paste in your API key, adjust model mappings, and apply the setup to Claude Desktop in one click. Under the hood it runs a local gateway on 127.0.0.1, so your real upstream keys and model IDs stay under your control while Claude only ever sees the routes it understands. It also handles the fiddly parts: connectivity checks, SSE streaming, HTTP/SOCKS proxy support, and clean uninstall on Windows. If you would rather not hand-edit config files or juggle CLI switches, this gives you a GUI that takes care of the switching for you.
