Why we included this project

Most people who run several AI coding assistants end up maintaining a separate skills folder for each one, and the prompts drift out of sync almost immediately. Skills Manager fixes that with a desktop hub that writes a skill once and mirrors it to 32 tools, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Gemini CLI among them, using symlinks rather than copies. That means each assistant always picks up the latest version, and you can switch a skill off for one tool without touching the original. On top of the sync, there's a marketplace for community skills, LLM-powered translation for teams working across languages, and a quick-navigation command palette, all in a local-first Tauri app that runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux. If your team has settled on a few coding agents but keeps tripping over duplicated config, the granular per-tool controls and the CLI doctor and fix commands are worth a look.
