Why we included this project

Plock drops an LLM into every text field you already type in, so you never have to leave the app you are working in. Write a prompt, select it, and the global hotkey replaces it with streaming output in place; copy something first and a second hotkey feeds it in as context. It runs fully local with Ollama out of the box, and since you can point the trigger at any shell script that writes to stdout, remote APIs and custom tools work the same way. People who spend the day in an editor or terminal and do not want to bounce to a chat window every few minutes will appreciate that. The trigger system is flexible enough for simple automations once you get comfortable with it.
