Why we included this project

Organizations that have rolled out GitHub Copilot often struggle to turn the raw Usage Metrics API responses into something leadership can actually read. This viewer converts that data into a dashboard of charts that cover adoption, acceptance rates, active users, model and language breakdowns, and per-user activity across an organization or enterprise account. It runs in two modes: a direct-API setup that needs only a token and returns the latest 28-day window, and a historical mode backed by PostgreSQL that keeps full history and derives team-level metrics from per-user records. Historical mode also includes a billing tab that breaks down AI credit spend by model, SKU, cost center, and repository. If you are an admin or platform engineer responsible for reporting on Copilot usage and spend, this is a practical way to get those numbers into charts without building the reporting layer yourself.
