Why we included this project

If you've ever wanted to ask your computer what you did on a given day, ReMind turns that wish into a local searchable archive. It captures screenshots and audio during your work sessions, transcribes the text it sees and hears, and indexes everything in a vector database on your machine. You can then query your digital history in plain chat, and because everything runs through Ollama with a model like llama3.1, no data leaves your device for a cloud service. That makes it a solid option for people with sensitive documents who want a personal lifelog without a closed commercial memory tool. Be aware it's still rough around the edges: the macOS build and Electron front end require manual setup, so plan to follow the setup video.
