Why we included this project

GENAI Web is the generative AI platform Japan's Digital Agency built for its own staff, and it's a useful reference if you're trying to give non-technical employees safe access to business-specific AI tools. It started from AWS's Generative AI Use Cases (GenU) and adds what a large organization actually needs: team and app management, the ability to plug in external AI apps built as microservices, SAML authentication, and operational features like logging and monitoring. The frontend is React/TypeScript with the agency's design system, and everything deploys on AWS through CDK, so it shows how a public-sector-grade AI interface is put together. The admin and deployment docs are thorough, which helps if you're planning a rollout to many users with controlled access.
