Why we included this project

For teams that need to send a live feed to several destinations at once without paying per platform fees, Restreamer is a self-hosted streaming server that handles the routing. It pulls a source from OBS or IP cameras over RTMP or SRT, then republishes to YouTube Live, Twitch, Facebook, Vimeo, or your own site. The package also includes its own HLS, RTMP, and SRT server, an embedded player, per-viewer bandwidth limits, and automatic HTTPS. It runs as a Docker image, so a small Linux box or a Raspberry Pi is enough, and it can use CUDA or VAAPI hardware encoders for transcoding. That keeps your pipeline in your control and avoids recurring platform fees.
