Why we included this project

If you use Cursor for daily coding and keep running into its usage limits, this desktop client targets that problem directly. It's a Tauri app for Windows and macOS that switches between multiple Cursor accounts with one click, resets the machine code Cursor uses to fingerprint your device, and disables automatic updates so a forced upgrade doesn't interrupt your work. It also tracks per-account usage of advanced and basic models and checks account validity, which helps if you manage several accounts or share access with a small team. The Vue3 front end and a swagger-defined backend contract make it fairly easy to adapt if you want to build your own account-management setup. One thing to note: the machine-code reset is meant to get around Cursor's trial restrictions, so check the service terms before you rely on it.
