Why we included this project
This project speaks to anyone who has ever lost an afternoon to SQL joins and Excel pivot tables. You connect your data sources, ask questions in plain language, and the agent figures out the schema, writes and runs the SQL, then hands back charts and written business insights without you reaching for a formula. It supports 41 chart types and works with OpenAI-compatible models, so you can plug in the LLM you already use. The v1.2.0 release adds multi-agent task splitting and a business canvas, which pushes it beyond one-off questions into repeatable analysis workflows. One caveat for teams weighing a commercial rollout: the project ships under CC BY-NC 4.0, so business use requires the author's approval.
