Why we included this project
If you've ever tried to make one bot talk to WeChat, WhatsApp, and WeCom at once, you know how different those APIs are. Wechaty is a conversational RPA SDK that hides that mess behind a single interface: you write your bot once in TypeScript, Python, Go, or another supported language, then attach a pluggable 'puppet' adapter for each service. That makes it a reasonable choice for customer support, notifications, and small workflow automations without building a full NLP stack. The project has been around since 2016, and the community has accumulated a lot of working integrations and examples to lean on.
