Why we included this project

Cherry Studio is a desktop client that puts OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, and cloud services like Claude and Perplexity in one window, with local models from Ollama and LM Studio on the same screen. It comes with hundreds of pre-configured assistants, lets you build your own, and runs several models side by side so you can compare answers without switching apps. You can attach documents, PDFs, and images to chats, and the extras go beyond plain chat: topic management, global search, translation, Mermaid chart rendering, and MCP server support.
