Why we included this project

Venom handles the awkward part of talking to WhatsApp Web so you do not have to script a browser session yourself. From Node.js it offers a clean API for the client: sending a text, image, audio clip, document, sticker, or location is a function call, and listening for incoming messages and replying works the same way. QR-based login and session persistence come built in, and multi-session support means you are not limited to a single phone number as traffic grows. That makes it a practical base for customer-service bots, order notifications, or scheduled outreach, and since the codebase is plain JavaScript and TypeScript, teams already at home in the Node ecosystem can get moving quickly. If your product lives on WhatsApp and needs automated replies, this is the layer to build on before you wire in a language model or your own rules.
