Why we included this project
APIAuto is a browser-based HTTP workbench that handles documentation, testing, mocking, debugging, and project management in one place, which is enough to replace several Postman and Swagger setups on a small team. Its main draw is the no-code machine learning testing: instead of hand-writing assertion scripts, you let it watch response JSON across runs, learn what each field normally looks like, and flag drift on its own. That appeals to QA engineers who want automated checks without maintaining a test codebase, and to backend or mobile developers who get generated client/server boilerplate, static JSON inspection, and hover documentation as they code. It also imports existing cases from Postman, Swagger, YApi, and Rap to keep switching costs low, and it supports RESTful, gRPC, and the APIJSON protocol out of the box.
