Why we included this project
Swarmpit is a self-hosted web console for Docker Swarm clusters, and what makes it interesting in AI workflows is the companion MCP server that sits alongside its REST API. Everything you can do in the UI, from managing stacks, services, and secrets to connecting private registries and watching resource usage across nodes, is also available programmatically, so tools like Claude Code or opencode can drive deployments without an agent ever holding your API token. It runs on your own infrastructure and collects no telemetry, which matters for teams that want automation hooks into Swarm without handing cluster access to a third party, and multi-user access is built in for sharing the console across a team. It is a management plane rather than an AI model, so the appeal is the integration surface it offers if Swarm is already your orchestration layer.
