Why we included this project

Coolify is a self-hosted PaaS, and this MCP server is what lets an AI assistant actually operate it rather than just answer questions about it. The roughly four dozen tools cover the routine work: reading container logs, diagnosing a failing app, triggering and cancelling deploys, rolling back releases, and managing databases, services, environments, and scheduled tasks. You talk to it in plain English from Claude, Cursor, or any other MCP client. Destructive operations pause and ask a human to confirm in their own client. Environment secrets stay masked unless explicitly requested, and long list responses get summarized so they fit in a context window. The server runs locally with just a Coolify URL and API token, so credentials never leave your environment. Teams already comfortable with Coolify will find this a practical way to hand routine infrastructure chores to an AI while keeping a human in the loop for anything irreversible.
