Why we included this project

StackStorm listens for events across your services and runs workflows automatically. That covers the repetitive parts of incident response, like remediation and troubleshooting, plus routine deployments, all without a human in the loop. A rules engine and reusable workflows let you encode how your team responds to alerts, and you can trigger them from monitoring, webhooks, or ChatOps commands in Slack. The project ships a large library of integration packs and actions for common tools, meaning much of the glue is already written. For SRE and DevOps teams building self-healing runbooks, that combination of an event-driven core and ready-made integrations makes it a practical choice.
