Why we included this project

Debugging a slow API call across microservices usually means hopping between a log tool, a metrics dashboard, and a tracing UI. SigNoz pulls all three into one OpenTelemetry-native platform that you can self-host on Docker or Kubernetes, so the whole request path, from the initial call to the database query, stays in a single view. The built-in APM, distributed tracing, log management, and infrastructure monitoring cover the usual on-call scenarios, and self-hosting means telemetry data never has to leave your own infrastructure. It also has features aimed at teams building AI applications, including tracking for LLM calls and agent activity. If you are already standardizing on OpenTelemetry, SigNoz is a practical way to get a complete observability stack without per-host licensing.
