Why we included this project

WeChat users who want a scriptable helper on their own machine will find EverydayWechat easy to pick up. It runs on Python 3 and the ItChat library, hooks into the web version of WeChat, and can push scheduled messages such as the day's weather, a quote, or your own reminder to friends and group chats. Auto-replies come from wiring in an external bot service like Turing, and there are group-side query commands covering weather, waste sorting, calendars, package tracking, PM2.5 readings, and movie box-office numbers. One honest caveat: it depends entirely on web WeChat being reachable, and the last commit landed in 2021, so treat it as a handy reference and a base to adapt rather than something to run unattended in production.
