Why we included this project

PostHog is a self-hostable product analytics platform that combines what most product teams would otherwise buy from several vendors: event and web analytics, session replay, feature flags, A/B experiments, error tracking, and a data warehouse. For teams shipping AI features, its observability layer tracks traces, generations, latency, and cost for LLM-powered apps, so you can watch how an agent or chatbot behaves in the same view as regular user behavior. The self-driving mode goes further, turning signals like errors and rage clicks into researched reports and even pull requests you review and merge. It's a good fit for small teams that want one open-source stack for understanding and improving their product instead of wiring together separate analytics, monitoring, and experimentation tools.
