Why we included this project

This isn't a tool you run; it's a skill file aimed at a narrow, familiar failure: handing your own writing to an AI for a polish and getting back something cleaner that no longer sounds like you. The author hit that exact wall, and the skill distills the response into a SKILL.md that tells the agent when to touch a sentence and when to leave it alone, plus a post-edit checklist that scans only the lines the AI changed for signs of machine-generated prose. If you write or dictate and want your own voice kept intact through an editing pass, this gives the agent a concrete rule set instead of vague prompts like 'keep it natural.' The bundled case study, which sets the original next to a botched rewrite and the final version, is genuinely helpful for deciding how aggressive an editor you want. It's aimed at Chinese-language editing, but the restraint principles transfer to any language.
