Why we included this project
Instead of sending the same resume to every posting, you can feed a job description into this tool and let it score how well your current resume lines up, using text similarity and vector search. From there it drafts a tailored resume and cover letter through whichever LLM you pick, local or remote. Since everything can run on your own machine, your personal data never has to leave it, which is a real advantage over commercial resume services. It's aimed at developers who are comfortable with Python and Next.js and want a self-hosted option.
