OpenMetadata is the kind of tool that shows up when a team has outgrown spreadsheets and wiki pages as its data catalog. It pulls metadata from 130+ sources through connectors and ties it together with lineage, quality checks, profiling, glossaries, and data contracts, so the answer to 'what does this table mean and can I trust it' lives in one place instead of across a dozen documents.
