Why we included this project

Anyone who self-hosts knows the deploy-then-debug loop: push code, watch it fail, copy logs into an AI tool, paste a fix, redeploy. Nixopus hands that cycle to an autonomous agent that analyzes the codebase, writes the build config, ships the app, and keeps watching afterward, so it can diagnose a failure, open a fix PR, and redeploy on its own. It is the first open-source deployment platform with a fully autonomous agent, works with any framework that runs in a container (Next.js, Django, Rails, Go, FastAPI, and Compose stacks all count), and you can drive it from the dashboard chat, a VS Code or Cursor extension, or by tagging resources directly. The platform is free to run on hardware you control, and there is a hosted cloud if you would rather skip the setup. For teams tired of babysitting deploys, the self-healing workflow is the whole point.
