Why we included this project
Writing a tabletop exercise from scratch is slow, and AttackGen cuts most of that work out. You pick a threat actor group or an ATLAS AI attack case study, tell it your organisation's industry and size, and it produces a response scenario built from the relevant MITRE ATT&CK or ATLAS techniques. Red and purple teams can spin up a fresh exercise for a new threat profile in minutes, or assemble a custom scenario from a hand-picked set of techniques and common incident templates. It also covers AI-specific risk, including insider-threat exercises around frontier AI agents, and the chat interface lets you revise a scenario and capture feedback as you go. Since it runs on most major LLM backends via LiteLLM and comes as a Docker image.
